Telescope Observations Challenge Assumptions About Kuiper Belt Objects

New studies, utilizing observations from NASA's James Webb Space Telescope and Hubble Space Telescope, have provided the largest census of Trans-Neptunian Objects (TNOs) to date. Published in The Astronomical Journal, these findings indicate the Kuiper Belt does not primarily consist of dust and crumbs, challenging previous expectations.
