Telescopes Uncover Unexpected Composition of Distant Icy Objects Beyond Neptune

Data from the James Webb and Hubble Space Telescopes has provided the most detailed survey of Trans-Neptunian Objects (TNOs) to date, identifying 27 new icy bodies. The findings challenge previous assumptions about the Kuiper Belt's composition, indicating fewer small objects than expected and offering new insights into planetary formation processes.
