JWST Identifies Methane and Unique Chemical Composition on Interstellar Comet

The James Webb Space Telescope has detected methane and unusually high levels of carbon dioxide on interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS. This marks the first direct observation of methane on a comet from outside our solar system.
