Climate Study Warns of Amplified Warming from Natural Feedback Loops

Research in Environmental Research Letters indicates that natural greenhouse gas emissions from sources like thawing permafrost, wetlands, freshwaters, and wildfires could increase global warming by an additional 0.2–0.4°C this century. This amplification is projected to occur on top of human-caused warming.
