James Webb Space Telescope Reveals Surprises About Objects Beyond Neptune

The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has identified 27 new Trans-Neptunian Objects (TNOs) in a small patch of sky, some as small as six miles wide. This represents the most sensitive study of such distant icy worlds to date, providing the largest census of these objects and offering insights into the formation and evolution of planets. The findings are published in The Astronomical Journal.
