New Study Suggests Sun May Have Consumed a Missing Super-Earth

A new study published in Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society proposes a scenario where our Sun may have consumed a hypothetical "super-Earth." This ill-fated planet, dubbed Dev Dilek, is suggested to have brought in material rich in heavier elements but poor in lithium, potentially explaining certain elemental abundances observed in the Sun.
