ESA's FLEX and Sentinel-3C Earth Observation Satellites Successfully Launched

The European Space Agency (ESA) successfully launched its FLEX Earth Explorer satellite and the Copernicus Sentinel-3C satellite aboard a Vega-C rocket from French Guiana. The launch, designated Flight VV30, occurred on September 15 at 03:21 CEST (01:21 UTC). Both satellites were successfully injected into orbit, and ESA's European Space Operations Centre has received initial signals, confirming their safe release and contact with ground control. FLEX is designed to measure photosynthetic activity from space, providing data on plant health and climate change impacts, while Sentinel-3C will contribute to Europe's Earth Observation Programmes.
