Amateur Astronomer Identifies Major Impact Crater in Quebec

An amateur astronomer has discovered a large, previously unknown impact crater in Quebec, now named Uhackatik, using online satellite maps. Estimated to be around 390 million years old, this significant find is the largest discovered since 2018 and adds to the approximately 200 confirmed impact structures on Earth. This discovery highlights the value of citizen science in geological research.
