NASA's Roman Space Telescope Operational Life Extended
NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is now projected to operate for at least 22 years, more than doubling its initial 10-year design life. This significant extension is attributed to highly accurate initial mid-course corrections, additional fuel loaded before launch, and anticipated results from upcoming orbital maneuvers. The extended mission duration will allow for more extensive astronomical observations and data collection.
