Oxford physicists help uncover 'spooky' quantum effect in the Large Hadron Collider

Physicists at CERN's Large Hadron Collider, with contributions from the University of Oxford, have found strong evidence of quantum entanglement between a pair of Z bosons produced in the decay of a Higgs boson. This discovery, published in Physical Review Letters, confirms that this "spooky action at a distance" occurs even among heavy and short-lived particles created in high-energy collisions.
