JWST and Hubble Identify 27 New Trans-Neptunian Objects

Astronomers, using deep images from the James Webb Space Telescope and follow-up observations with the Hubble Space Telescope, have discovered 27 previously unknown Trans-Neptunian Objects (TNOs). These icy bodies orbit beyond Neptune, and this represents the most sensitive study of such objects to date. The findings offer new insights into early planet formation.
