Stanford Researchers Create AI Agents from Scientific Papers to Facilitate New Discoveries
A team at Stanford Medicine has developed an artificial intelligence program, Paper2Agent, that transforms scientific manuscripts, including text, figures, and data, into interactive AI agents. These agents can answer questions about the research, apply methods to new data, and collaborate with other paper agents, fundamentally reimagining how scientific knowledge is represented and extended. The research was published in Nature.
