Researchers create a new porous diamond material called diamondiyne

Scientists at the University of Gothenburg have successfully created a novel carbon material with a three-dimensional structure, named diamondiyne. Described as a porous diamond with a tetrahedral basic shape, this breakthrough, published in the journal Angewandte Chemie, opens new avenues in materials science.
