New Perovskite Material Shows Ultra-Stable Resistance for Energy Storage
Researchers at the Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter have achieved ultra-stable breakdown resistance in a 2D perovskite antiferroelectric material, (2-MBA)₂CsPb₂Br₇. This material demonstrated an electric breakdown field strength of ~175 kV/cm and over 10⁶ fatigue cycles by regulating atomic displacement. This breakthrough could significantly improve molecular antiferroelectrics for high-precision sensors and energy-storage capacitors.
