ESA Contracts OVHcloud, CGI for Earth Observation Data System

The European Space Agency (ESA) awarded a 30-month contract to OVHcloud and CGI to develop Digital EO, a computing infrastructure for Europe's Earth observation satellite data. This system will integrate storage, computing, and AI tools for various users, managing an anticipated 500 petabytes of data by 2035. This initiative strengthens Europe's strategic control over its space programs and supports critical environmental monitoring.
