NOAA's National Hurricane Center Issues Advisories for Multiple Tropical Systems

NOAA's National Hurricane Center (NHC) issued updated advisories on September 28, 2026, at 17:06:16 UTC, for several active tropical systems. These included Tropical Depression Fay and Tropical Storm Hanna in the Atlantic, Hurricane Polo and Tropical Storm Rachel in the Eastern Pacific, and Hurricane Nolo in the Central Pacific. Hurricane Polo was reported as a major hurricane approaching the Baja California Peninsula.
