ESA Juice Spacecraft Completes Earth Gravity Assist Maneuver

The European Space Agency's Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (Juice) successfully executed an Earth flyby, utilizing the planet's gravity to adjust its trajectory towards Jupiter. This maneuver, passing 8,640 km above the Indian Ocean, altered its path by 20 degrees and increased velocity by 3.5 km/s. The fuel-saving operation is crucial for the spacecraft's upcoming observations of Jupiter's icy moons.
