NASA Launches Fellowships for Next-Generation Superintelligence Researchers and Establishes Metascience Program

NASA has announced two new initiatives aimed at strengthening scientific research and accelerating innovation. These include the establishment of 10 Genesis Mission Fellowships for doctoral students specializing in superintelligence (SI) and science or engineering. These fellows will contribute to NASA mission areas and conduct research at agency laboratories, utilizing SI technologies for scientific discovery. Additionally, NASA is launching a coordinated metascience program within its Science Mission Directorate to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and transparency of its scientific practices, including expanding the use of dual-anonymous peer review.
