New Image Dataset Developed to Enhance AI Navigation for Solar Panel Cleaning Robots

An international research team has created a new open-access dataset of 6,200 solar panel images to support the development of AI-based navigation systems for autonomous cleaning robots. The dataset includes annotated panel reference lines under various contamination conditions, aiming to improve the robustness of visual navigation algorithms.
