NASA Seeks Commercial Proposals to Reboost, Service, or Deorbit Hubble Space Telescope
NASA has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to commercial companies, seeking proposals on how they could capture the Hubble Space Telescope and boost it to a higher orbit (at least 600 km), enhance its performance, or guide it to a controlled reentry. Any mission is expected to occur by 2032, and responses to the RFI are due by November 30. NASA has not yet committed to purchasing such a mission.
