Forgotten Neutrino Particle May Explain Universe's Existence, Scientists Propose

Scientists have proposed a new theory suggesting that a mysterious neutrino particle, largely overlooked for decades, could be the key to understanding why matter survived the Big Bang, allowing for the formation of stars, planets, and life. Researchers from the University of Southampton and the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur believe this 'forgotten neutrino' reshaped the early universe and may have left detectable gravitational wave signals. The findings were published in Physical Review Letters.
