NASA Unveils X-70 Fractal, a New Experimental Aircraft for Advanced Flight Research

NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman announced the X-70 Fractal, the agency's newest experimental aircraft designed to expand its capacity for advanced flight research. Described as a crewed, rapidly reconfigurable research platform for advanced aviation technologies, the X-70 Fractal will be used to test cutting-edge flight-control, maneuverability, and other technologies in real flight. Its first flight under the NASA banner is expected within the next two years.
