ESA's Hera Spacecraft Delivers First Close-Up Images of Didymos Asteroid System

The European Space Agency's (ESA) Hera spacecraft, built by OHB, has returned its first close-up images of the Didymos asteroid system after a two-year journey. These new views mark the beginning of the final and most critical phase of Europe's inaugural planetary defense mission, providing unprecedented details of Didymos, the larger asteroid in the binary system, from approximately 60 kilometers away.
