NBA Board of Governors Approves Draft Lottery Rule Changes to Deter Tanking

The NBA's Board of Governors has officially enacted new regulations for the draft lottery. These changes are designed to discourage teams from intentionally losing games by making the odds of securing the top pick more even among lower-ranked teams. The "3-2-1 Lottery" system will include 16 teams and will be implemented for the next three seasons.
