Tour de France Adjusts Green Jersey Points System for Sprinters

The Tour de France has announced a significant modification to its points classification rules for the 2026 race, specifically designed to enhance the competition for the green jersey among sprinters. Flat stages will now award 70 points to the fastest rider, an increase from the previous 50 points. This change will be implemented across five stages in the current year's event.
