Rays Pitchers Nearly Complete Combined No-Hitter Against Royals

Two Tampa Bay Rays pitchers, Casey Legumina and Ian Seymour, came close to achieving a combined no-hitter during their game against the Kansas City Royals. They maintained the no-hit bid for eight innings before it was broken up in the ninth. The Rays were leading 8-0 when the attempt concluded.
