Ski Mountaineering Added to 2030 Winter Olympics; Ice Sports Venues Shifted to Lyon

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has approved ski mountaineering as a new sport for the 2030 Winter Games in the French Alps, expanding the event with two new races. Additionally, the IOC Executive Board decided to move all ice sports, including figure skating and hockey, from Nice to Lyon for the 2030 Olympics, following the Nice mayor's refusal to convert the city's soccer stadium for hockey.
