Teenage Race Walker Isaac Beacroft Wins Gold, Eliza McCartney Claims Pole Vault Title at Commonwealth Games

On the penultimate day of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, 19-year-old Australian race walker Isaac Beacroft secured a gold medal in the Men's 10,000m Race Walk. New Zealand's Eliza McCartney also claimed gold in the women's pole vault, clearing 4.65m and winning on countback against defending champion Nina Kennedy of Australia, who took silver. Additionally, Australian middle-distance runner Sarah Billings earned a bronze medal in the Women's 800m.
