PGA Tour Secures Sompo as Title Sponsor for New Championship Series Event

The PGA Tour has announced a multi-year agreement with global insurance and reinsurance company Sompo, which will serve as the title sponsor for a new tournament joining the PGA Tour Championship Series from 2028. The Sompo-sponsored event will debut as a full-field PGA Tour tournament in Napa, California, from July 29 to August 1, 2027, effectively replacing the Rocket Classic.
