LAFC Co-Owner Larry Berg Appointed as Next Major League Soccer Commissioner

Major League Soccer has announced that LAFC co-owner and private equity executive Larry Berg will succeed Don Garber as the league's next commissioner. Berg, who has been part of LAFC's ownership since 2018, will assume the role on January 1, 2027, after the conclusion of the 2026 MLS season.
