FIFA apologizes for abandoned World Cup commercial rights proposal, reaffirms support for President Gianni Infantino

FIFA issued an apology to its member associations for the handling of its now-withdrawn proposal to sell commercial rights to the World Cup, known as the FIFA Forward Enterprise (FFE). Following a crisis meeting in Rabat, Morocco, the organization's leadership also reaffirmed its full support for FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
