Washington Spirit activates forward Ashley Hatch from maternity leave

The Washington Spirit has activated star forward Ashley Hatch from maternity leave, making her available for selection this weekend. Hatch, who welcomed her son Leo earlier this year, returns to the active roster for the first time since May 2025. She is the Spirit's all-time regular season goals leader with 52 goals.
