Cale Makar Named NHL's Best Defenseman for Fifth Consecutive Year by NHL Network

Colorado Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar has been selected by NHL Network as the league's best defenseman for the fifth straight year. This recognition highlights his continued dominance, as he finished last season third among NHL defensemen with 79 points and was a plus-40. Makar also joined Bobby Orr as the only defensemen in NHL history to be a Norris Trophy finalist in six of his first seven seasons.
