Atlanta United Acquires Swiss Striker Breel Embolo in Major MLS Transfer

Atlanta United has officially acquired Swiss international striker Breel Embolo from French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais for a reported fee of $18 million. The 29-year-old Embolo has signed a four-year contract and will occupy a Designated Player roster spot, marking one of the largest transfer fees in MLS history.
