Coco Gauff delivered a masterclass display in the Cincinnati final to beat Jessica Pegula 6-2, 6-4, securing her first WTA 1000 title of the year. In the men's final, Frenchman Arthur Fils claimed his maiden Masters 1000 title by defeating American Frances Tiafoe 6-3, 1-6, 6-0, becoming France's youngest Masters 1000 champion in 12 years.
