Liverpool and Netherlands star Cody Gakpo has reportedly decided to join Premier League rivals Manchester City. The Athletic's David Ornstein reported that Gakpo, valued by Liverpool at £85 million ($160 million AUD), opted for City after Liverpool's acquisition of Bradley Barcola. Both clubs are now working to finalize an agreement for the 27-year-old forward, who has scored 51 goals and provided 24 assists for Liverpool since 2023.
