Konnor Griffin is officially back with the Pirates

The Pittsburgh Pirates activated rookie phenom Konnor Griffin from the 60-day injured list on Friday, making him eligible to play in their series opener against the Los Angeles Angels. Griffin had been sidelined since early July with a left ring finger sagittal band tear.
