Red Sox's Roman Anthony Exits Wild Card Game with Hand Injury, Status for Elimination Game Unclear

Boston Red Sox designated hitter Roman Anthony was removed from Tuesday night's Wild Card Series opener against the New York Yankees due to a right hand injury. Anthony, who struck out in both at-bats, felt discomfort after checked swings. His status for today's elimination game is currently unclear, especially given he missed significant time earlier this season with an injury to the same hand.
