College Football's Top Teams Upset on "Shakeup Saturday"

Five of the top seven teams in the Associated Press Top 25 poll, including No. 1 Georgia and No. 2 Notre Dame, suffered losses on October 17, 2026. This unprecedented "Shakeup Saturday" also saw No. 5 Indiana, No. 6 Alabama, and No. 7 Texas defeated. The widespread upsets create a clear path for No. 3 Miami to potentially ascend to the top spot in the upcoming college football rankings.
