Shohei Ohtani Expected to Avoid Offseason Surgery, Return to Pitching in 2027

Los Angeles Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman announced that superstar Shohei Ohtani will not require offseason surgery and is fully expected to return to the mound as a two-way player in 2027. Ohtani was limited to 14 starts on the mound in 2026 due to injuries.
