Detroit Tigers Acquire Taiwanese Infielder Cheng Tsung-che in Trade with Boston Red Sox

Taiwanese infielder Cheng Tsung-che has been traded from the Boston Red Sox to the Detroit Tigers. This transaction, which occurred on Thursday, raises the possibility of an all-Taiwanese middle-infield pairing for the Tigers in the upcoming MLB season, as Cheng would join fellow infielder Lee Hao-yu. The Red Sox reportedly received cash considerations in return.
