Nikita Kucherov Requests Trade from Lightning, Citing Lack of Communication

Tampa Bay Lightning winger Nikita Kucherov has publicly stated his desire for a trade, explaining that a lack of communication and respect from General Manager Julien BriseBois led to his decision not to re-sign with the team. Kucherov, 33, is set to become an unrestricted free agent next July and submitted a 10-team trade list earlier this year.
