Databricks to Invest US$300 Million in Australia and New Zealand for Data and AI Expansion

Databricks has announced a US$300 million investment in Australia and New Zealand over the next three years, following significant growth in the region. This commitment includes establishing a new ANZ headquarters, upskilling 100,000 learners in advanced data and AI skills, and meeting increased demand for its Lakebase, Genie, and Agent Bricks products. The investment aims to accelerate AI adoption across ANZ enterprises.
