TSMC Chairman Affirms Taiwan's Unmatched Semiconductor Supply Chain Amidst Global Cluster Pushes

TSMC chairman C.C. Wei stated at a media briefing that Taiwan possesses the world's most complete semiconductor supply chain and ecosystem, dismissing rival efforts to build semiconductor clusters elsewhere. He emphasized that while production may expand overseas, the core R&D and mass production of new technologies will remain in Taiwan, especially in the AI era.
