EU Initiates AI Projects for Sustainable Energy and Data Centers

The European Union has launched two significant initiatives aimed at digitalizing its energy infrastructure. One project, 'AI.grids,' will develop EU sovereign AI models to enhance energy grid management, involving 48 partners. The second focuses on integrating data centers into the EU's energy system sustainably, aligning with the broader Tech Sovereignty Package.
