CISA Mandates New Federal Vulnerability Management Strategy

The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has released a Binding Operational Directive (BOD 26-04) to reform federal vulnerability management. This directive establishes a risk-based approach for prioritizing remediation, particularly for internet-facing systems and known exploited flaws.
