IQE and Tower Semiconductor Secure Multi-Year Epiwafer Supply Deal for AI Data Centers

IQE and Tower Semiconductor have finalized a multi-year agreement for the provision of Indium Phosphide (InP) epiwafers. These specialized components are essential for advanced optical connectivity solutions supporting AI-driven data center infrastructure. The collaboration will facilitate current 200Gbs/lane transceivers and advance the prototyping of next-generation 400Gb/lane modulators and optical-circuit-switches. This partnership also resolves a previous intellectual property dispute between the two companies.
