Texas Grant Supports Xycarb's Semiconductor Facility Expansion

Governor Greg Abbott announced that Texas has awarded a $3.9 million grant from the Texas Semiconductor Innovation Fund (TSIF) to Schunk Xycarb Technology Inc. This funding will support the expansion of Xycarb's Georgetown production facility, which manufactures and refurbishes components for semiconductor wafer processing. The project is expected to create 25 new jobs and generate over $42 million in capital investment, strengthening the semiconductor supply chain in Texas.
