Fortinet Alerts Users to Active Exploitation and Credential Exposure

Fortinet has issued a warning about an ongoing campaign, dubbed 'FortiBleed,' involving the active exploitation and public exposure of nearly 74,000 FortiGate firewall and VPN gateway credentials. CISA has corroborated that government and critical infrastructure are being targeted through credential reuse and brute-force attacks. Fortinet advises immediate security measures, including session termination, password resets, and multi-factor authentication implementation.
