GlobalFoundries and Qualinx have successfully established a complete, end-to-end semiconductor manufacturing process in Dresden, Germany. This achievement marks Europe's first fully independent chip production flow, reducing reliance on external supply chains. The initiative aims to bolster supply chain resilience for critical sectors like aerospace, defense, and infrastructure within the EU.
